Hey! I’m Ryana Lynn Peterson and I’m originally from Central North Carolina, currently living in Northern Maryland! I married Jacob Peterson in December of 2020, thus transferring my base of operations! My life changed yet again in 2023 when my beautiful daughter, Dixie Cross was born!
I’m currently getting back into the swing of writing again after a (basically) 3 year hiatus! It’s been rough, let me tell you! But I’m so excited to be getting back into my creative side! I did publish To Save a Life last year for Kindle and am currently working on getting the paperback squared away!
When not writing (which is most of the time XD), I am usually chasing after my toddler, trying to keep a simblance of order in our house, consuming too much coffee and not enough water, reading a book (usually a picture book these days, lol! Good thing I like them!), listening to an audio book, learning how to utilize my slow cooker, watching a favorite show (Bluey, Scooby Doo and Aristicats compete with NCIS, Ninjago and Naruto on a regular basis), hanging out with Jacob or working on a post!
My Testimony
In September 2001, 9-11 took place. I was five years old, and I remember people talking about the planes flying into the twin towers. I didn’t understand what was going on, but it scared me. When I heard about all those people dying, it set me to thinking about where I would go after I died.
For 20 years, I put my faith in my prayer rather in Jesus finished work and gift of Salvation. On February 5th, 2023, I realized this and accepted Christ as my Savior!
My Goal
My Goal as a writer is to provide Historical, Christian Fiction to those who want an accurate account of history and conservative books to read, to guide others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and I also hope to provide an answer for those who don’t understand our Country’s fine heritage. In recent years, I have begun to dabble in Contemporary YA/NA! Because some of the topics I have covered can be a bit controversial (pro-Confederacy and Pro-Police), my goal is to write with compassion and make a difference (Jude 22).
